A Glimpse into Ukraine: Kateryna's Photo Exhibition

Kingsley Devon Sixth Form pupil, Kateryna, is proud to present her personal photo exhibition at The Plough, Torrington. This poignant collection of images offers a glimpse into the realities of life in Ukraine, capturing both the beauty and the challenges of a nation enduring conflict.

From Saturday, October 5th to Saturday 26th October, visitors to The Plough in Torringon will have the opportunity to experience Ukraine through Kateryna's lens. As she eloquently states, "There are so many things we forget about the moment they’re out of our sight… When people stop talking about it, when the news and journalists don’t report about it as eagerly, even such huge things as wars fade from our memories. To not cover our eyes and turn away from the pain and despair, this photo exhibition of Ukraine is here to remind us of what is truly important."

Kateryna's exhibition serves as a powerful reminder of the human cost of conflict and the resilience of the Ukrainian people. Through her photographs, she invites viewers to connect with the stories of those affected by the war and to gain a deeper understanding of the ongoing crisis.
