Outdoor Education Scholarships

Outdoor Education Scholarships at Kingsley School provide an exceptional opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural world while developing essential life skills through a range of adventurous activities. Kingsley’s unique location and expansive outdoor curriculum enable students to enhance their physical and mental well-being by engaging with nature.

Apply if you have a love for the outdoors, a passion for activities such as hiking, climbing, and paddlesports, and a desire to build leadership and resilience. You will need to demonstrate experience in outdoor pursuits and the potential to further develop your skills in our Outdoor Education Programme.

Scholarship details:

  • Participate in a diverse spiral curriculum of outdoor activities, including expeditions, climbing, paddlesports, surfing, and forest school, with the opportunity to progress year-on-year;

  • Build character and resilience through teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving, developing into a well-rounded individual;

  • Train for renowned outdoor challenges like the Exmoor Challenge, Ten Tors, and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, cultivating confidence, creativity, and leadership;

  • Earn recognised outdoor qualifications (RLSA, BCA, BMC), opening the door to potential future careers in the outdoor sector.
