"We are the parents of Arthur Payrard, who has spent the first term with you.
We would like to warmly thank each and every one of you for welcoming Arthur and accompanying him through his schooling and life at Kingsley School. We wanted to tell you that Arthur loved his stay. It has been a very enriching experience for him. He enjoyed every day and was particularly sensitive to the teaching methods you use.
He really appreciated having teachers who were smiling, encouraging and in a good mood! He also remembers the chemistry lessons, during which the students were allowed ‘to do real experiments’! Thanks to this, he found the lessons in this subject much more interesting than in France.
The length of the courses, which were shorter than in France, seemed much more appropriate. He loved being able to do lots of sport and enjoy the outdoors. Discovering surfing was a real highlight for him!
Boarding school life was also a real discovery. He really enjoyed the atmosphere at Carisbrooke house and Longfield. Thank you for the varied programme of activities on offer every weekend.
He left Kingsley school with a heavy heart but with the joy of having new friends with whom he will keep in touch.
Thank you again to all of you, to the teaching team, to the Carisbrooke team and to all those who accompanied Arthur during his stay. We are very grateful.
