Mr Pavis' Newsletter: Friday 14th June

Welcome to this week's newsletter! This week's highlight is all about space. Our students in years 8, 9, and 10 coded their own programs and ran animations on the International Space Station using Raspberry Pi computers, reminding astronauts of Earth's flora and fauna. They received certificates showing where the ISS was during their animations.

Additionally, our STEM activities continue with students participating in the Bideford Water Festival this Sunday at 1:30 PM. Come to the quay side to cheer on our Kingsley crews navigating the waters in their cardboard boats.

Congratulations to our Year 9 students who completed their Duke of Edinburgh expeditions on Exmoor. Best of luck to Henry, Ben, Fletcher, Elise, and Finley representing the ISA South West team at the national finals in Birmingham.

Well done to our drama scholars for their performances at the North Devon Theatre Festival, and good luck to everyone auditioning for next year's show. Have a fantastic weekend!
