Mr Pavis' Newsletter: Friday 21st June

Welcome to this week's video newsletter! I'm reporting from Carisbrooke Boarding House, where our students have been celebrating the Euro football finals. It's been a week of festivities and achievements. We welcomed back five athletes from the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham, where Fin and Ben earned silver medals at the National ISA Finals. Our Key Stage 3 students shone at the Bideford Water Festival, with Alexia and Louis winning their cardboard boat races.

We also celebrated the end of public examinations for Year 11 and Year 13 students, marked by fantastic proms and formal dinners. On Wednesday, we hosted our first Scholars' Day, showcasing the talents and efforts of our students in various disciplines, including art, music, drama, and more.

Special congratulations to Joe, who will be heading to Portugal for an ocean conservation project. As we look ahead, outdoor education kicks off anew in September, and students need to submit their options by 5th July. Join us for a charity bike ride on June 30th, and don't miss our Performing Arts Academy's play "Ageless" on July 1st.

And finally, a big thank you to Matt Dart for preparing our cricket pitches this season - you've done a brilliant job! Have a wonderful weekend, and see you next week!
