This week, Kingsley students embarked on a fascinating journey around the world without leaving the school grounds! Our Modern Foreign Languages Workshop, as part of Activities Week, was a whirlwind of creativity, cultural exploration, and language practice.
Here's a glimpse into the fun we had:
- Story-time with a Twist: Our young authors crafted their own bilingual children's books, combining their imaginations with their growing language skills.
- Masterpiece Makers: Inspired by iconic international artists, our students recreated famous works of art using their own unique styles.
- Language-Based Games: Board games took on a whole new level of excitement as students strategised and communicated in French and Spanish.
- Fiesta Fun: We channeled our inner artists and created vibrant Mexican paper garlands, adding a touch of colour and culture to our day.
- Architectural Adventures: With spaghetti and marshmallows as their building blocks, students constructed famous landmarks from around the world.
