Year 10 & 11 students build on their interests and strengths, choosing GCSE subjects that will develop their love of learning. Students are encouraged and guided to study subjects they enjoy in broad areas of interest. There are no right or wrong subject combinations!
A bespoke Core Curriculum combined with our Expansive Curriculum ensures that student mental health and wellbeing are at the centre of everything we do so that our students really do become the very best versions of themselves.

Students will also do PE (Physical Education) and PSHE (Personal, Social, Health & Economic Education).
Students may choose to do either combined sciences ('Trilogy' where Biology, Chemistry and Physics are all studied together resulting in the award of 2 GCSEs), or separate sciences where all 3 subjects are studied separately resulting in 3 GCSEs.
Students are able to choose any 3 of the following subjects. In some combinations, Art may be chosen as a 4th subject if taken as part of the Expansive Curriculum. The subjects are grouped below in pathways which offer typical combinations, but any combination of subjects may be taken provided timetabling blocks allow.
